It's Early days...
24.07.07 Pagham kicked off the 2007/08 pre-season with a 2-1 home reverse in a local derby against Littlehampton. The Lions looked a little off the pace, but were up against a Marigolds side who were already two games into their pre-season preparations. Gary Block’s team were undone by two first half goals, one of which was a very contentious penalty. New Pagham signing Jamie Angell was looking lively, as was Ed Griffin, also making his debut in a Pagham shirt. Of the “old guard”, Rob Wimble went close a couple of times for the home team, but a consolation penalty midway through the second half was all Pagham could show as they strove to repeat the success of the previous season
It's Back !!
22.07.07 Pagham start the new season next Tuesday with a home game against local rivals Littlehampton. The Marigolds didn't have the best of seasons last time out whilst we, of course, won the championship. Should be a cracking game. Kick off 7.30 (weather permitting !)
